I just REMOVED my Smoke Stack MOD, I'll see it that was the culprit
That's what it was!!!! temps leveled out. Never did test the MOD on a long smoke so it's GONE for good now. 👍

Interesting that the stack mod would mess with the temp control feedback loop, that was quick thinking to test that out by removing.

well, it was only a 30 minute level, I should run another 1-2 hour smoke to make sure but it sure looked like that's what it was to me.

Top Sirloin reverse sear. Smoked at 175°F for about 2.5 hours on Super smoke. Finished on the gasser on grill grates

Fair amount of smoke at 175°F on the IW650. I am leaving the paint for now. I may have that piece powder coated in the future. Traeger need to look at the quality on their coatings as well as their temperature probes

Picked up 2 Tri Tips this morning. Meat Church Holy Cow and Holy Gospel. Smoking with Bear Mountain Gourmet Blend. Going to smoke at 225 for 4 hrs then wrap in foil for 1.5 hrs. Hope there as good as they was last time. Also added my new pellet caddy on back of Traeger today. These Triskets are so good take internal temp to 203 You can cut the slices with a fork.
