Pellit hopper empty

Just bought a new Timberline 1300. went to empty the hopper and found it to be ridiculous because of the design of the dump door. Saw a youtube of a guy who bought a bucket head vac from home depot for $25. attaches to a 5 gal bucket and vacs right out. gonna try that today. Any other thoughts on emptying?

Also wanted to add I got rid of the grate in the hopper, only seemed to be in the way

I have swapped out pellets a few times now and the hopper door location isn't good. The stick-on chute idea is sweet, they should include one with the grills in my opinion.

That said, I'm often in flip flops or barefoot when cooking on the patio. Stepping on loose pellets that missed the bucket is, well, one of my favorite pains, really hurts! So I'm off to pop the $24.95 for the Buckethead Vac at home depot. Will be handy for cleaning the grill as well.
