So I am very new to the Traeger world, I am a bit late to the game at 45 years young.
I have had gas grills in the past, but no smoker, or charcoal. Grills previous to the new Traeger were used for quick burgers and chicken. Recent events got me interested in cooking more and quality. And the stimulus gave me the green light to get a Traeger and learn. So far we have had our Traeger for 4 weeks, and cooked 22 meals and a few batches of jerky. To say I am hooked would be an understatement. My favorite so far was ribs, but I am trying all different cuts and types of meat. Here is my first dish made entirely on the Pro 575....

That looks damn good dude! Welcome to the Traeger family!

If this cooking thing does not work out for you, I believe you have a future in photography. Great pic!

I am on year 10 in the Traeger family, recently upgraded my unit. In the beginning I learned a lot from subscribing to Smokingribs.com. He has become kind of commercial, but the science to smoking etc., provided a good start to learning solid techniques early on. Good luck and Traeger on!

Thanks for the info @Coug86 I will check them out. I have always loved cooking, but never as much as recently, and the Traeger just added to that x10 here is last nights dinner.... and apple crisp in the Traeger used a cast iron skillet —— AMAZING!
