Forgive me, it's my first day on the forum. Just got my Ironwood 885 and I see posts of people showing graphs of temperatures in the meat inside their grill. I'm wondering what meat probe is best for accuracy and being able to graph and save results. TIA

I’m really hope the App gets this soon. It appears to show it’s coming in the pictures of the iOS App Store.

I use it on my Weber iGrill2. Works well but has to stay within Bluetooth range or it won't record. I've found the Traeger probe to be awful.

I received a Meater wireless probe for Christmas that has a nice application that includes a graphing element. Kind of a pain in the ass to use, especially on smaller cuts if you are turning. The jury is still out. Never played around with the fireboard, but looks awesome.

Ditto the Fireboard. I have one with 6 probes, and I learned more about bbq temperatures in the first few cooks than I had never known or had wrong. For instance, when you are looking, you ARE cooking. Your Traeger will come back to temp almost immediately, and the slope of the probe temps won't change.

The best thing is the ability to save your sessions with the graphs and notes, It does this automatically, so you can go back and see how you did that super turkey last Thanksgiving.

My only complaints are that the support pages are a little hard to navigate and the colors of the graph lines are too hard to distinguish for my color-blind eyes. Also, it has a grill management function for setting up custom cooks, but sadly it won't work with Traegers.
