I'm wanting to add a bottom shelf to my IW 885 Grill, but it doesn't appear that Traeger offers one. Has anyone built their own? Looking for clean, factory looking ideas.

3/4 plywood, spray painted edges black, glued luxury vinyl planks. It was stuff I already had. It looks great and is durable.

Looks nice!
How did you attach it? Looks like maybe the planks are resting on the lip of the support braces?

I bet this fits. They told me the 22 version wouldn't fit on my IW 650 and it fit perfectly, may need to loosen the legs a bit, install the shelf and tighten everything back up.

I see that it is it is 39"x14". I'll have to take some measurements later today.

I took measurements and then loosened screws on one side. It does rest on the existing metal lip. Working great.
