MikeyR I read a post about that just not 100% sure how that bends it.. I saw two straps I guess vertically around the barrel? I assume the ratchet would need to be on the exact spot we would be trying to flatten as that where the most tension would be..

In the short term wanted to see if the weights made a difference and honestly they didn’t.

I didn’t take a photo. Go around the lid with the lid open. Tightening will bend the lid more. You won’t be able to shut the lid.

For me the sides seal, but not the end. Trying to get it to match the curve of the barrel better.

I do have a gasket as well...seals pretty good. Just front bottoms corners needed some work. Was supposed to get a replacement and got a hopper lid........

My gasket is only 1/8" thick (like Fireblack). LavaLock is 1/4" thick, might have to try it.
