Dexter 2 doesn't seem to need the plastic drop sheets set up.....so far.
Cuts really nicely, can go pretty thin, right up to about 1/2"

Yes, a tad thinner
I said it can go pretty thin and up to 1/2".
Meaning the range was from thin, like in the picture to 1/2" thick

I've had one for a few years, completely agree, they work well!

A vacuum sealer and a sous vide are great tools! I just reheated pulled pork from yesterday and it was just as juicy!

Agreed. I vacuum seal and freeze and my son heats it up a week later in the sous vide, and says its juicy and fresh.

If sealed properly and kept in a good freezer (below 0F/minus 18C) it will be just as good a year later....if it last that long.

A cheap welding blanket and a couple of hand spring wood clamps to hold it closed on the hot end. Works wonders on Christmas Eve when it's about 15 degrees out and the winds blowing. https://www.northerntool.com/products/klutch-fiberglass-welding-blanket-6ft-x-4ft-113661

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, they also carry welding blankets. Amazon should also have them for those would cannot get them locally.
