Hi everyone, I’m looking for some insight about replacing the controller. I was given a traeger Texas elite 36(was told). The digital controller seems to work for a short while and reached 136F then slowly crept down like it quit working. I’ve replaced all mechanical parts even though they all worked so I saved them.
Im looking to buy the controller now and is wondering if anyone has any insight or experience on buying a cheap off brand as apposed to the Traeger factory replacement? Can’t imagine they’d be different in quality being that it’s all made in China anyways, just without the Traeger name on it.
