I have a Traeger tailgater that is approximately 5 years old. I keep it really clean but I am starting to have temp issues. Temperature will spike, it shuts down and reads "Ler" on the display. It has a lot of excess pellets. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what is the issue? What is the remedy? I appreciate your help in advance.

If you have not messed with the P settings then it could be the temp probe is bad maybe.

I'm having the exact same issue. Any help would be great. On low temps it errors out and sometimes will really catch fire - like in the pellet box on fire.

LER is a low temp error. It's most likely the probe.
