Standby mode

How do i put 850 in standby mode!!

Assuming 850 Timberline. Just turn on the Power (back switch). The front silver button will be illuminated. Don't push the silver button not the front. Your grill is now in standby mode

Do you power off your unit after each cook. I have been leaving mine on because it's difficult to reconnect to wifi.
Not sure if it's a good idea or not
