Did a 9lb spiral slice yesterday. Followed this recipe from the Traeger app:


Only changes I made were to put some apple cider in the pan with the ham, & I started the temp at 225, and bumped it up a turn on the dial every half hour. For the glaze, I added in some hot sauce, smoked paprika, & a tsp of lemon juice (& discovered a new bbq sauce in the process).

I will do it again certainly. If I use a spiral slice again, I will either tie it up with butcher string or stick the top slices together with skewers to keep them from separating.

Family loved it.

Thought I had a picture, but evidently I dont. Good recipe.
