Silverton 620 grill grates....dishwasher safe?

Anyone know if the grates are dishwasher safe?

Add me to the list for looking to find best practices in cleaning the Silverton 620 grill grates.

Was hesitant to charge in with my old scraper and such and sink clean up of these were the only downside of my initial use.

Thanks to many previous posters as I used foil and completely avoided messing up the grill otherwise except ash from smoking pork. The wife loved it!

We have put ours in the dishwasher...no problem.

I put mine in the dishwasher and it is fine. So, may be yes. I was worried like you as well but my friend Daniel hinted that it is dishwasher safe and asked me to put the grate in the dishwasher.
