What's cooking today? 🔥 Pics are necessary!

Big day tomorrow: smoking 4 tri-tips and 4 racks of baby back ribs; 2 with Meat Church Honey Hog and 2 with a chili rub and Traegar Blacken Rib. Interestingly, the ladder came out so Tanger that they were falling off the bone which is not perfect. But these were the better of the tasting too. The meat church ribs or firmer but almost dry.

I have experimented with various seasoning, but by far Holy Voodoo is my favorite for pork ribs.

Making some other vegetable dishes, but those will be on the gas grill.
Agreed. Fantastic rub.

Pork Loin Chops reverse seared and grilled cauliflower

I do not think I can fit anymore food in my 1300: two tri-tips, five ears of corn, two baskets of mixed vegetables, 14 baked potatoes and 8 pieces of bacon for the mash potatoes coming up.

Prime packer. Couldn't use the smoke tube because my propane bottle must have bled out from being stored in my barbeque cabinet. I guess the hot temps did it. I tried a sample and it came out fine:D

On the theme, everything is better wrapped in bacon.....
Hog/Pig nuts
Water chestnuts sprinkled with Holy Voodoo and wrapped in bacon and coated in some Honey Hog

My twist on a Hog shot
Venison sausage, pickle and cream cheese wrapped in bacon

And to finish, bacon wrapped oreos

Man I love bacon! My cardiologist isn’t a fan, on the other hand. :)
I hear you there! The bacon and sodium are literally a killer combination.
Sometimes I have to let the indulgence win out. I can behave more in the winter.....I promise 😉😁

I say the same thing about cigars and bourbon. It’s a “summer thing”.

Although I spent the weekend cleaning out the garage area where I have a leather couch, heater and TV to watch football.

I’m screwed!

Love doing my fish this way, this makes about 6 times and I've never had a fail yet. always juicy but totally done and flaky.
