HARDWOOD: Oak, Pecan, Cherry, Sweet Wood Blend

COOK TIME: 30 Minutes

EQUIPMENT:
* 9 x 13 Aluminum Pan
* Mixing Bowl
* Pam Cooking Spray

INGREDIENTS:
* 1 – Pound of Ground Breakfast Sausage
* 1 – Package of crescent rolls
* 1 – Cup of shredded cheddar cheese
* 5 – Eggs
* ¼ - Cup of Milk
* 1 – Teaspoon of Italian Seasonings
* ½ - Teaspoon of Salt
* ¼ - Teaspoon of Coarse Ground Black Pepper

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:
* Chopped Onion
* Chopped green peppers

PREPARATION:
* Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks

YOUR COOK:

1. Set your cooker to 400 degrees.

2. Unroll the crescent sheet and spread it across the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 Aluminum Pan

3. Evenly spread the sausage over the dough.

4. Sprinkle cheese on top.

5. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

6. Pour over the top of the casserole.

7. Bake for 20 minutes until eggs are set and crust is golden.

NOTES:
 
We do something very similar using cubed up bread (whole grain white, sourdough, etc.) ... that with some Danish Kringle is a regular staple for holiday breakfast/brunch ...
 
The ground breakfast sausage and chopped home-cured bacon finish it out nicely
