I have had 4 Traegers in my day. Currently I have two. I have one on my deck outside and have been using it constantly. Went to put some burgers on the smoker two days ago and when I went to start it, it said "ERR". Nothing happened, I reached under the hopper and found a chewed off wire. Lately I have had a mouse get inside my Traeger and it must have been him. My question is if I empty the hopper and the drum, can I turn the Traeger on its side to see any damage and hopefully connect the chewed wire. Will turning it on its side hurt anything?

I had a fan fail on mine, I layed down on my patio and did the change out. I have also used a mirror to clear a wasp nest. Much less work than taking all the components out and laying the unit on its side. Just a thought. Welcome to the site, great folks and great recipes.
