Raw pinenuts on Traeger?

Have about 15 pounds of raw pine nuts (in shell) and usually cook them in an old cast iron pan or roast in oven but wanted to try on my Traeger, anyone else ever experiment with them? Thought having a slight smokey flavor would be a nice change.
