2023 Ironwood-L
Thought I'd make a pull so we can see who's planning to purchase one of the new Timberlines.

I am a firm no, as well. It looks like a nice grill but things like the induction cook top just don't add any value to me. I am also looking hard at a Yoder and if the new Traeger was in that general price point I would have considered one, but the delta is just too great.

My Yoder YS640S complete with the cover and grill grates and freight to my door, including our taxes, was cheaper than the CDN MSRP on just the new Traeger, no extras or delivery.
It has to come down to what one wants or needs. If it was available up here, I'd have looked at the Lonestar grillz as an possible purchase. Definitely a few contenders at this price point

A big fat NO from me. I still prefer the Ironwood mainly for the grease drain design.

I see a Yoder in my future though.
That's my road also.

Nope. I am pretty happy with my IW. The price point is just a huge sore thumb. I do like the induction stove stop which I don't mind. The many options for the top two racks are definitely a plus. It would be interesting to hear the reviews after a few weeks of usage. Did I mentioned the price point yet? Hard no.

I see someone voted yes. Not that I expect an answer, but I wonder why you would go with one of these instead of a Yoder (or MAK) at this price point. Brand loyalty?

Yoder is what I will do next, Fireboard controls seals the deal.
Lone Star Grillz also have that integration. I would lead towards Lone Star over Yoder.

I watched a few videos on them. They produce a lot of smoke at all temperatures. One video showed the FB temperature graph and you could see they were using temp fluctuations to generate the smoke. I think sometimes we focus too much on achieving a steady temp. Fluctuations aren't bad over a long cook as long as the average temperature is your desired temperature you should achieve great results.

Curious why you would lean to LSG? What do you like over Yoder?
