So I got an hour of smoke time in on some burgers while I mowed today. Digging the fireboard so far. Only used the grate sensor.

Loved being able to check the temp while doing something else.

Looking forward to using it on a long cook with a pork shoulder in the near future.

I've had the pleasure of using a FireBoard for about 18 months; I LOVE it. And being able to log and store my cooks from their app--either from my phone or desktop--is extremely nice.

It has saved me twice on long overnight cooks at low temp, had flameouts. First time I woke up before low temp alarm hit, but it woulda woke me up about 10 minutes later. Friday night it actually woke me up with the same issue on my brisket.

Yesterday I had the app up on my tablet while I was waiting for the brisket to reach 202. Was actually able to make a pound cake and get it in the oven with an occasional glance at the iPad.

Not sure i want to cook without one now .... 😂
