Congrats!!!

May I ask which model? There are many but from my research most have one of 2 griddle sizes, so it's just a matter of the stand/cabinet/frame. True?

A Blackstone could land on our patio this summer too... I've been looking at them hard for a while. Hard to justify with an empty nest. HOWEVER, when I do a BBQ & have friends over I'd love to have one. The cheap way is to use a griddle on my gasser, but then I can't use the gasser for anything else during that time.

Question: Did you go LP or Natural Gas? We already have natural gas for the gasser, so that would be convenient, but requires a conversion kit (and possibly a spitter on the house?). I'd hate to run out of fuel during a party. But, those Blue Rhino's are everywhere and we have a Lowe's not even 2 miles from the homestead.

It was from Costco, model 2380NA. 36" width with 4 burners. There are a couple 36" models available. You can't beat Costco for them standing behind stuff. This is propane, we don't have natural gas to the house. We always have one spare full tank. So we should be okay for backup. But if we get caught short, the gas grill or fireplace will lose out over eating
I have a griddle insert for my Napoleon gas BBQ, but it's only half the width of the grill, so a tad small to do anything really.
Reheated some pulled pork and made them into tacos for a first meal on it

If ayou have room, I would suggest a four-burner model. That gives you enough space to cook several different items, even if they need different temperatures. As for propane use, gas griddles are remarkably fuel efficient. The steel flat top heats quickly and maintains its heat. I do keep a backup tank, but one tank lasts me close to a season. However, I split my cooking between the Traeger grill/smoker and the griddle.

I got the Chargriller Premium 4-burner model. I really like the cabinet style, attached cover, and side shelves.
