I have a Pro 780 and have used it a couple of times so far. The first time I didn't notice any smoke coming from the grill so this time I watched it closely while cooking a brisket. I used the same Traeger brand pellets I always used in my old grill and cooked the brisket at 250 degrees. In nine hours not one puff of smoke. The brisket was good, even had a smoke ring?? Is this the new technology?

The hotter it is the less smoke is put off. I would try 225 or less. These pellet smokers don't generally smoke hotter than 225.

Clean smoke is what you want and it isn't visible. All good.

No problem. Don't over think it. Just use it and enjoy the great food it produces. Cheers!
