Hi all! I got my Ironwood 885 a week ago, which is my first ever smoker. Already cooked a brisket, ribs and some pulled pork with very satisfying results but looking forward to learn and play more with this thing... Wonder if It's going to work in the winter here?

Welcome. Back in 1984 I was in the Navy and the destroyer I was on made a port call in Stockholm. I found the city beautiful and the people friendly. As far as how well your Ironwood works in the winter, I suspect that it will work fine but you will probably have to compensate by cooking at higher temps. I just became the owner of a Timberline 850 and I live in South Dakota. Winters here can be pretty harsh with many days below 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-17.7 C). It will be interesting to see how the cold affects grilling.
