I am the proud owner of a BBQ 075 which my father (RIP) gave me years ago. Dad was a Traeger man from way back and loved this grill. I have been keeping it going over the years and find myself in need of a bushing. I called customer service and had my model and serial number in hand and they can't seem to find an owner's manual for me. The customer service guy tried to help but never came up with the correct owner's manual.

I am looking for a source for a brass bushing which for the auger. I know Traeger doesn't use this busing anymore, but the new style doesn't work on my antique and the current customer service people don't seem to be able to help.

Does anyone have a part number or source for the bushing?

That's pretty cool. If you had a buddy or know someone that was a tool and dye guy, they could make you one or possibly a place in your area that made bearings and pulleys may have access to a part like that. It's worth a shot...It may be a different material like SS but would be fine. Good luck, that pit I'd imagine is priceless to you so hope you find a fix.

Just in case anyone else runs in to this issue the part I was looking for is sold at Grainger and is part number 12R665. This is a Bunting Bearing and the measurements are 1/2 ID X 5/8 OD. They sell for $4.19 for a pack of 3. Shipping was $10.00 so have it delivered to your Grainger store.

Once I had the correct bearing all I had to do was press it in the the metal bracket, reattach the auger motor and reinstall the auger.

My old grill has new life and we are doing 321 Ribs tomorrow.

Happy Grilling!

Thanks for reporting back and glad you got it going! I'm sure this will help someone else in the future. Cheers!
