You left out…..at Sams Club.
I think all pellets are good pellets as long as it’s not old pellets that’s been sitting around the back for years or it’s taken care of by the store. Don’t forget they go through transportation from the origin to the distribution center and finally to the final stop, the store. If the bags were left outside for. Period of time in in lament weather that could affect the pellets you buy wether it’s its number name brand or a less brand name one. I started off with 3 bags from Traeger. With one bag left I just picked up Pit Boss Apple and Hickory (20lbs ea) at Walmart for $8.88 per bag. Deal. my next trip to Sams I’ll pick up their 40lb bag o pellets for $15. Deal. No need to keep buying Traeger brands. Unless it’s on sale for 50% off.

pellet brand and flavor to use forever…up to 275* Traeger ambient…
…it would be?…
That’s the beauty about living in the USA. We have hundreds of items to chose from. So why only 1 item. I know what your asking. Totally understand. But certain foods may require a different smoke flavor if that’s what your trying to achieve. When I first smoke (earlier this year with a Brinkman) I smoke pork shoulder with only apple wood chunks. With the Traeger I bought a mix, hickory, cherry, apple and a Costco mix bag. All good. So don’t stick with one. Experiment with different flavors when smoking certain foods. I’m still learning. 3 weeks old with my new T grill.

Still no need. At $10 they’d be overpriced

Bear Mountain Apple

Toss up between Lumberjack competition blend & B&B Pecan. Been alternating back & forth a lot lately. For price, can’t beat $8.88 a 20lb bag for Lumberjack at Rural King.

I've tried a few different pellets when I came across Smoke Ring brand pellets last year at a local butcher. 15.00 for a 40 lbs bag. They make great food, burn good, and I have zero complaints. I have been using their comp. blend (H/M/C) on everything and have zero complaints. At this point I haven't even tried any other pellets because I'm afraid I would like them and feel I ruined a meal. They have great for me.

Apple? That’s surprising to me for some reason
Love apple for chicken and pork. Got 2 buckets of it and only 1 of the others (oak, cherry, mesquite, hickory).
