So what is everyone's first mod to their ironwood going to be? I'm thinking of adding a low pellet sensor. It is available on the Timberline and I'm guessing it should plug into the d2 directly.

All the cables needed are there for what I have seen, all you need its the sensor. you should add some high temp gasket to the rest of the door.

Agreed the sure the sensor will plug in. I have some felt gasket material left over from my Weber's for the sides of the lid.

No luck in sourcing the sensor from Traeger as of yet.

Sausage hanger mod!

Already put gasket around the door which keeps it nice and quiet/sealed.

Thanks for the link and pics. I am going to try this on my Pro 780. I am loosing a lot of smoke by the hinge on the top right side of the grill.

I installed Lava Lock, purchased off Amazon for cheap. It seals up the lit great so far. Even has it's own smoke ring!
