Hello,

Just purchased this grill and fired it up yesterday for the first time. I was grilling burgers, I set the temp to high and it heated up to about 430 it held that temp perfect until I flipped the burgers then the temp dropped to 120, I still had it set on high and it would not heat above 120? the wind was moderate and temp outside was 65. Any ideas why it would not heat back up?

Thanks for any help

Did u do the initial break in process first? I had a friend who skipped this and his was the opposite, temps went way above 500 degrees. Ofc warped some of the metal and had to get it replaced.

Yes I did initial break in, followed exact instructions from the manual. Let it go for 45 mins on high heat.

Normally if i run into error code LER or your in situation is to shut down everything and make sure the pot is cleaned out, then start again. After that its fine.

Welcome to the forum Madmax, sorry to hear about the issues during your first cook. I can only imagine how frustrating that would be. What pellets were you using?
