I got my second new Traeger Silverton 810 after having issues with the first one that got returned. The ignite button on this one was really bad, it’s like there was nothing there. I contacted Traeger and got a new display/controller after threatening to return this one, but the new display is just as bad. While holding the new display I quickly discovered the issue. I kinda do this for a living, I do troubleshooting for the company I work for. I discovered the standoff that the controller mounts to, that holds the actual buttons is to far away from the display face. I trimmed down the standoff that the screw closest to the ignite button and the one in the middle of display. The ignite button now almost feels like the rest of the buttons on the display, not exactly the same, but you can feel it click when pushed.
note: I cut the standoff to much in this picture, only needs to be cut down about 1/2 way.
