PRO 22
Not my favorite first post in a forum but I assembled my Pro 22 yesterday and today noticed that it was dented under the handle. I assume this happened when the two of us turned it over to install the legs. It wasn't dropped, just carefully turned over long ways. The handle had been installed as per the instructions. A caution in the instructions would have been nice.

I suppose I can live with it but do you think I'd get anywhere contacting Traeger for a replacement? I mean technically it's my fault, but like I said I was very careful and it still happened.

I also suppose it came this way when my wife purchased it at Home Depot but don't recall any damage on the box.

TIA,
CW

Havin difficulty understanding how that could have happened when putting it together given it apparently suffered no "trauma" during the process and the unit was only turned over longways. To my mind the damage is caused by blunt force pressure or trauma directly against that hanger pushing it inwards and folding the metal below the weld lines? The tubular hanger bit itself seems undamaged.

Whilst the box wasn't obviously damaged maybe a severe jolt or jarring motion at just the wrong spot during transit could be enough if the welded protuberance wasn't protected enough? To me the damage more likely came like that out of the box either due to damage in transit or poor QC before shipping!?
