It is very unlikely that there will be a cover specifically made for an older model grill. Your best bet will be to measure the grill and get a generic cover that fits it dimensions. I can recommend the Unicook brand on Amazon as I have covers from them for my grills.

Your grill should be Traeger Professional Grill BBQ124, I agree with the opinion upstairs, measure your grill size and choose the similar size cover, maybe you can look for here: Grill Cover

Did you ever find a good cover for this model? We have the same issue - been looking for replacement cover. Thanks!

Ditto: we've been looking for a cover for our "ancient" BQ124 and have come up empty as well. We may have to resort to a large blue tarp and tie down straps.

I wouldn’t recommend using a blue tarp as it might melt. Ive used a weld blanket with good results.

Thank you. Don't know where my head is at! Before I moved from Minneapolis in 1979 I worked for my parents who owned a welding supply company (and, yes, I do know a bit about welding and actually took a welding sculpture class at the University of Minnesota/Minneapolis). My mother later sold the building to one of my brothers who moved his welding supply business to that building, but, alas, he sold his business a few months ago or he would send me a newer version of a welding blanket (they used to be asbestos way back when). I'll look into a welding blanket locally (there are a couple of welding supply shops that are local).

I forgot to add: Don is my husband (he doesn't use a computer). One day when a customer came into the welding supply shop when my dad happened to be there, the customer thought that only women worked there because we really knew our stuff.

I made a budget cover with $10.00 blue tarp. Not Quality, but does the job…

Bringing this thread back to life because I think I found a solve for this one. As the years go on, it’s becoming more and more farfetched that any of us will find the exact cover for this model. If any 124 covers do still exist in good shape, 15-20 years later, it’s likely because they’re paired with a well cared for grill. And when you call Traeger, their customer service people can’t even see a part number for this cover in their system.

The grill is exactly 24” wide and 32” deep… so I started searching for covers with that kind of ratio. But I could come up with was heavy duty outdoor patio covers for “stackable chairs” 28w x 36d x 47 tall seems to be the common dimension for these covers. And they have a high point in back (easier on the chimney) and a low point in front (to rest on the front loading hopper). Links to the two I think work best, found below.

https://a.co/d/4vMUAus (This is the one I got on Amazon, because I wanted a black one to match the other black grill cover sitting next to it)

https://a.co/d/fABNStS (This is the “Amazon choice” brand that also seems heavy and comes in cream/brown or grey)

Seeing as this isn’t specifically intended for a grill, I’m going to be very cautious to not put it on the grill until the barrel has cooled down, after use. .

I believe I may have what you are looking for. This is a NOS/open box cover I bought at a local ACE, some time ago. There is some dust/dirt from where it was not completely sealed and a pull or two that I saw when looking at it just now.

I do not remember what grill I bought this for, but the layout for the stack, the stitching for where it fits over the front box and the serial number make me think this is exactly it.

Let me know if anyone here is interested.

Cheers!

Sorry, I think I should have added to the thread, rather than responding to just the one message.
