Does anyone know if there is an actual difference in controllers? Traeger list Pro, Ironwood and Timberline with their own “D2 Controller”. While I can comprehend a possible difference in controller settings based on size I cannot believe Traeger makes the different controllers per model. Thoughts?
There are differences. The Pro is missing most of the buttons on the controller, you need to run it from the app (it says via Traeger App in table). It is also missing Super Smoke. The Timberline and Ironwood seem to be very similar, just more of an upgraded appearance on the Timberline, I believe.
