I’m brining two whole chickens today for a meal this evening which just got postponed until tomorrow due to snow and ice. I plan to take the chickens out of the brine after 8 hours and instead of putting them on the Traeger as planned I am going to rinse them and pat them dry and wrap them up and back in the fridge until tomorrow evening. Any issues with doing this? I assume that not rinsing off the brine would not be good. Any thoughts folks? Thanks a lot.

Sounds like a good plan to me. I usually brine chicken overnight, then rinse, shake a little seasoning on it in a hotel pan, cover with foil, then place it in the fridge until I'm ready to smoke it.
