I also live on the Gulf Coast , on the West End of Galveston Island. Just purchased a Traeger Mesa 22 from Cos

tco. Traeger was having a Road Show in Webster Texas. First Smoked Meats were a Rack of Pork Ribs and a few Country Style Pork Ribs. Impressed, fall off the Bone Smoked Goodness.

Today I Smoked and then Reverse Seared a pair of USDA Prime Strip Steaks Laredo Style. Probably the Best tasting Steak I've ever eaten (Rare to Medium Rare) and I'm in my mid 60's. Now I'm Smoking a Beef Roast.
