I have an older model BB400 which has done well with parts replacements over time. On Shutdown yesterday my firebox went into an uncontrolled fire mode. Today I learned that in Shutdown mode the auger keeps pushing wood into the box non-stop so that’s whatcaused the fire. However, I also learned that when I turn the power switch on the auger runs and pushes wood into the firebox regardless of the temperature setting. Does this mean the controller is bad? This Traeger is an older, non-wifi unit but the box is good, no rusting problems, etc.
