Welcome. I was a straight gas man as well pre-Traeger two years ago

Thanks,
What do you folks suggest for rookie 1st couple of cooks?
I’m thinking I need to start with simple higher temp cooks, to help get the mrs acclimated to wood fired flavor before I do much smoke..

I always recommend smoking a pork shoulder/pork butt for the first long smoke. The meat is cheap and always seems to come out good!
