Woodridge RTD

I have a new Woodridge and if I cook over 400 degrees, it will go crazy on the temp (Temp would show it increasing and decreasing super fast), then error 1 and shut down. Of the 5 or 6 times I used it, it occurred 3 times. Today it gave me error 1 and then error 6. I called support and did the troubleshooting. They are sending out a new RTD for me to swap. Tech support was great BTW.

Question is: Is this going to be a common issue with these grills? Am I going to be putting in lots of RTDs?

Im new to Traeger and wondering if I got the wrong grill.

There are issues with the4 accuracy of the RTD thermocouples. However, your issue does not seem to be caused by the RTD. I would suggest you contact Traeger customer support and ask them what they recommend. There are not a lot of reports on this forum of issues like yours.
