Wow...patience is a virtue and being stubborn is a kick in the pants.
My wife’s Iphone 12 likes the Traeger app and wifire setup but my iPhone 8 and iPad will not connect. Zero chance, too much effort with very little reward, so I’ve stopped kicking myself in the butt trying to make connect. Errrr.
Thinking about buying bazillion dollar phone 12 for myself to be able to have wifire app...am I stupid or too stubborn? Or both and delusional?
My loving wife bought me the Costco Silverton 620 because the price of $699 was “cheap” and the Traeger Rep was there talking to her about Traeger this and that. I was going to buy a Green Mountain and spend $$, so now it’s economy time grillin.
Added a wood chip box next to the burner, drilled holes in the chip box for it to catch fire and smoke faster. Soaked the wood chips and it worked like a champ.
A smoke tube on the grate also added 2 hours of good smoke. Chicken and ribs were good but now the challenge is on to do it better.
