Traeger pellet costs excessive

does anyone know why Traeger pellets cost twice as much as theit competition. Example: lowes, walmart, amazon, etc. sell 20 pound pellets for $8.95 or $9.95 and 40 pound bags for $16 to $19.

Kingsford has also stepped into the pellet world, I think they are lower but haven't seen them on shelves anywhere yet.

I was at Costco this past week and they where pushing Traeger products. They had 20lbs bags for $11.
