Is it just me or do others have a manual that does not align with the function of their Ranger grill?

I've only had my Ranger for 3 days and here are the things I've already discovered:
1) Under the heading Control Shutdown Cycle, on page 15 of my manual, it states "The display will flash OFF for several seconds, then scroll Cool Dn followed by the actual temperature until the grill cools down to a safe temperature". My display simply counts down for 5 minutes irrespective of what temperature was set for grilling. So if you've grilled at say 400 degrees F your grill will not have cooled down to a safe temperature at the end of this 5 minute cool down. This same description for shutdown appears on page 12 under PRESS AND HOLD FUNCTIONS.
2) Under the heading ARC CONTROLLER GUIDE, on page 12, there is a NOTE that states "For the following, when the grill is in standby mode, press and hold the buttons indicated for 2 seconds." It then goes on to explain various PRESS AND HOLD FUNCTIONS. Before my first grill I wanted to change my temperature display from C to F but before I could do that I had to figure out what was meant by "standby mode". I believe this is the only place this wording is used throughout my manual. I believe it's the same as Idle Mode, which appears throughout the manual but I can't say I'm entirely sure about that but I do know that I was able to make this change when in Idle Mode.
3) On page 12, and elsewhere, the manual mentions PROBE ALARM mode. I don't believe there is an ALARM but if there is I have no idea as to how to set the probe for a specific temperature. It simply allows you to check the current meat temperature by pressing the center button and cycling through TEMPERATURE > TIMER > PROBE ALARM. My guess is that this instruction is an artifact of the Traeger models that support WiFi which allow the probe alarm temperature to be set via the Traeger app.
4) When I plug in my probe I do not see an probe icon on my display panel but the probe does seem to be working.

There were a couple other issues I ran into but I can't recall the details.

Does my Ranger need an exorcism?

Fighting same issues. Started searching about probe issues and found yours. Also first time had issues with heat causing moisture in hopper. Scare to test control panel aging until food about done. First try yesterday after initial burn could not get back up past 120. Today bouncing between 340 350. For steaks

The primary purpose of the shutdown sequence is to burn out all remaining pellets in the burn pan. This will take a certain amount of time to accomplish. Thus, the auger stops feeding pellets and the igniter will turn on to insure that the majority of the pellets in the pan are consumed. If your grill was operating at a high temperature for grilling vs a lower temperature for smoking, the grill itself might take significantly longer to cool down to the point internal parts can be handled safely. If you are storing the grill in a garage or using a cover, you need to wait until the grill is at room temperature.

To check whether the shutdown sequence is doing its job, after the grill is cool, remove the grates, drip pan and heat shield over the burn pot. The burn pot should have very few pellets remaining. If that is the case, the controller did its job.

What I found on mine somewhere between initial burn and trying to use it pellets in chamber seem to been burning. After clean out and reprime chamber things seem to be working better. Even pellets in hopper looks as expected now. Bet it was throwing heat back to hopper and causing moisture buildup. Also found single click cycle though menus as others pointed out worked. Just a rough startup.
