Timberline 1300
Hello everyone. I've been a traeger owner for over 10 years. I first purchased a Texas Elite pro 34 and loved it. I recently upgraded to the Timberline 1300 and have been having some issues. I think it's just a learning curve with the new grill but thought I would put it out here. I've owned the new one for just over a month and have had one back burn to the hopper and one high temp shut down. I've kept it clean as far as ash and grease in the channels and pan. I'm wondering about the drip liners.. specifically if they cause grease to pool up instead of dripping away. I always wrapped with foil on the old one and never had a problem. Does anyone use foil on the 1300 with success? Thanks.
Jim

I place a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil above the drip tray on my Ironwood. I do have the Traeger foil liner as well, but my objective is to prevent grease from ever reaching the grease chute and grease bucket.

Thanks. I'll definitely check it out.
