Deal Alert! Thermoworks MK4 Deal $69 - All Colors

This is a super price for noobs. Who knows what they are coming out with after this fantastic product, but any noob should get this NOW while they can.

It's a food thermometer that you will pass down to your children. It's that good and that well built.

I agree! I also have one of the surface Thermapens that I use to temp my griddles, and GrillGrates.

I have 2 original ThermaPens that are almost 17 years old and still going strong with a new battery.

So I pulled the trigger on this today. Purchased a black one. The fact that it's going away makes me afraid I'd really regret not getting one if I didn't. Will be replacing my Weber "instant" read that seemed pretty accurate but took forever.

Guess we will see what they plan to unveil at 8:00 Mountain time today

Thermapen ONE.

One second read time and better accuracy. $105 list.

I'm assuming it comes with the same size jelly beans.

So what's the actual read time on the Mk4? I feel pretty good about my $69 purchase if that's all that's new about the ONE

2-3 seconds is the advertised read time on the MK4. The POP is 3-4 seconds. The MK4 is rated to be more accurate and it's more durable, but I don't really notice the 1-2 second difference in the reads.

$69 is a great deal on the MK4.

2-3 seconds.

Personally, I'd rather have $35 dollars in my wallet than an instant read that is 1 or 2 seconds faster.
That's what I'm thinking.....glad I made the purchase. Though the sweet orange color would've been nice.

I must admit.....the first thing I did was eat the jelly beans

Unfortunately I won’t be able to use it until tomorrow night and Saturday, but must say that upon opening it I was surprised at how big it was and how well built it appears. Here it is next to my weber one. The temp readings are basically the same, but you can tell which is the nicer product and the speed at which the Mk4 settled on its temp compared to the Weber was impressive

I bought the Mk4 with this sale and find myself using it for all kinds of things.

There's a heatwave in Seattle? GREAT! I can use my MK4 to determine the difference between house ambient and what is coming out of the register -- 20 degrees cooler, so now I know my heat pump is working properly. :P

Just north of you on Vancouver Island, no AC or heat pump, they say you don't need those on the Island...
At this temperature it doesn't matter if the the MK4 is upside-down or not
