I’m planning a flyIn trip to Tennessee. Memphis or Nashville? I know Memphis is known for its Bbq more than Nashville. Going for the bbq. Good craft beer is a close second choice. Any recommendations welcomed.

When I visited Nashville I stayed at the Opry hotel and they have a Jack Daniels restaurant built into it with brisket and while it was good I was also a snob and wished I had made it myself lolNashville will be more fun. I would steer away from Memphis at all costs. I have in-laws in Sevierville and I make sure we always do NOT need to gas up in Memphis on the way there or back. Nashville has all sorts of things to do and see.
As far as BBQ goes, I'm usually disappointed since I'm a BBQ snob.![]()
