I am sure you will hear from a number of folks, everyone has their favorites. The one I use and have been very pleased with is a Therm Pro, easy to read and from my testing ,very accurate. Two probes, I use one for the protein and one to clip to the grill beside whats smoking. It has a transmitter with readout that sits on your smoker and a handheld that has a range of 500 feet as advertised. You can set the carry around and it will alarm at a set temp. I usually set mine on a kitchen counter while I am doing other stuff. Amazon is a good place to check out a number of brands that will suit your needs.
