Temp probe wiring discolored

Hi,

I just purchased the Junior 20 pellet grill from Costco. So far, it's been great.

I just so happen to see the temp probe wiring, between the cooking box and the pellet box, slightly discolored from the heat (almost like it's being burn). Is there a better way to put that wire or does it just sit in that crevis? Feeing like it will eventually short out the wiring with more usage.

Any suggestions? Or is this normal?

Is it possible that that's a smoke stain and not a burn?
