Can any one report on the accuracy of the meat temp probe in the new Woodridge range? Just Curious.

Thinking about an upgrade from my Ironwood 885 Gen 1, its probe accuracy is shit, (that's why I have a RFX , Meater , Fireboard oh and a Thermapen one now that I see it written down I might have a problem with buying meat thermometers)

The meat probe should be fairly accurate, especially if you follow the procedure to calibrate the probe using an ice/water bath.
Of course, it would be even better if you could calibrate it at two points rather than just one, but that is not possible. Always use an instant read thermometer to determine the final temperature. The probe just tells you when the meat is approaching that temperature.

It is the cook chamber temperature that is often inaccurate.
