Strange on/off/on/off problem

Hey all, I've recently run into a very weird issue with my Traeger. It'll start just fine and runs at 225 with no problem...but the second I turn it up to 250 or higher it starts turning off and on and off and off repeatedly. I've read some posts that people have issues with the hotrod so I disconnected it from the controller but still encountered the problem. Has anybody heard of this problem happening? Any suggestions on what I should try next?

Hi mic. Are you indicating that your entire unit powers down and then restarts repetitively?

Yeah its like someone is killing the power and then restoring it. This happens in half second intervals
