Running way too hot

My Traeger has been running way hot. i live in the Phoenix area so I deal with the heat but this is extream. When on smoke it has been running at 320. Same with temp set to 180. Just changes the temperature probe and controller. Fired it up and have same problem. I'm about ready to throw it out. Can't smoke at 100 plus degrees hotter than settings.

Any ideas out there in Traegerland?

I googled the model number and it says Homestead. I was on chat with Traeger for quite some time yesterday. Here are bthe temp settings and actual temp
smoke - 315
180 - 315
225 - 270
250 - 250
They for the most part told me to clean it. I vacuum it out after every smoke. I will say that here is a lot of gunk coated on the inside of the lid and chimney. I just don't see how that would make a deference as the temperature probe should be keeping it at the desired temp no matter what.
