My pellet sensor has been a bit disappointing from day one, even "calibrated" it never seemed very accurate at all.
I just tried a new way to re-calibrate, I took the pellet level down to where there were still pellets in the very bottom, in the "funnel". Then I CLOSED the hopper door, BEFORE, pressing the OK button so the sensor would not get any stray light. Then I covered the sensor with my hand to cal the high position.
This seems to make it a bit better reporting levels.
