Pro 575, 2020 Performer, Silver A bluetop
First post on Traeger forum. Central Az community. Enjoying our new Pro 575 we got at Christmas time. Have done several cooks on it and so far it is a joy to use! From initial setup, wifi was quick, great to monitor temps and try recipes right off your cell phone. Temps have sometimes been off a bit but they seem to quickly regulate-glad I waited for this model with new controller and motor. Perhaps a lid gasket is in order in the near future .
Have had prior experience with Weber gas and charcoal models, having restored several to like new status. Was not ready to deal with all the SF problems, and the new 575 seemed to fit the bill. I have been cleaning after every cook, and surprised at how much ash there is-it doesn't seem to get onto the food though (good thing). Will be regularly looking for tips and advise as I learn to use the grill. So far its set and forget cooking!

Welcome to the forum!

Thank you all for the welcome. I'm sure I'll have questions as I frequent myself with the grill. So far I am very impressed with its quality and cook ability. First cook was roaster chicken inside my brand new Weber GBS roaster pan which worked real well! I haven't used that in my Performer yet! Used Smoke probe in addition to Traeger probe-they were identical! The chicken was the best we've ever had btw.

WELCOME

Welcome to the forum, I vacuum out my Grill before every cook over 2 hrs. Also I found keeping the Thermocouples clean is a Plus.
Also I vacuum out the auger every quarter ( usually 3 + cooks a week).

hey bob, welcome. i'm new here too so cheers brother.
