Good evening everyone. I’ve owned my Traeger for a few months now after picking it up cheap at the end of last season. So far I’ve done basic stuff just to get to grips with it. As a lifelong BBQ fanatic it’s a bit of a learning curve to cook at lower temps, but I’ve done some decent cooks like a small rolled brisket, chilli etc.
Now it is spring here in the UK I picked up a front shelf, some gasket tape and some different pellets ready for a full on summer learning how to get the best out of it. I even found a local craftsman who kindly made some boards for the front shelf and pellet hopper.
I look forward to learning from everyone here…particularly on how to gain the patience for proper low & slow cooks…looks like a great forum…
