New ironwood XL Tripping GFI

Our ironwood xl continues to trip the gfi. Tried several things, on the phone with Traeger for hours. New parts, new cord (which is jiggly in the socket) last time it tripped when I disconnected the probes. Anyone else have this issue.

Have you tried plugging it into a non GFI outlet? When was the house built?
