Mod to keep the grease bucket from filling with rain water?

I've got a new grill, less than a week old, and only used it once so far. My wings left about 1/16 of an inch of grease in the bucket. I figured I'd just leave it there. No need to throw away the liner after each grilling, right? Well, last night it rained and now I have a mess. I guess I could dump it down the drain, but I was wondering what most of us do with our bucket after each grilling. And has anyone thought of a cool mod to keep rain out of the bucket? Like 3D printed a shelter for it???

I take the bucket off after cooking and place it inside the grill. I got tired of doing that, so I built a little roof over the bucket.
